Terms of service

The rules for using StillToReel, in plain language.

Pending legal review. Items in [SQUARE BRACKETS] are not final and the text has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Provider: [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in [COUNTRY OF REGISTRATION] under number [REGISTRATION NUMBER], with its registered address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“StillToReel”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using StillToReel (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, studio or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.

3. Your account and your team

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us at support@stilltoreel.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Content in the Service belongs to a team. People with the right role in a team can view, edit, share, export or delete the team’s Reels, and you are responsible for the people you invite and the roles you give them. When you invite someone by email, you confirm that you have a legitimate reason to contact them; we send them one invitation email on your behalf and nothing else.

4. Plans, limits and payment

StillToReel currently offers two plans. The Free plan includes up to 2 active Reels per team and up to 5 exports per month per team (each PDF, slides or animatic export attempt counts, whether or not it succeeds), and is provided at no charge. The Commercial plan removes these limits and is activated manually by us on request; contact sales@stilltoreel.com.

Online checkout and automatic subscriptions are not currently available. Commercial plan price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refunds and taxes are agreed in writing with you before the plan is activated: [COMMERCIAL PLAN TERMS — price, billing period, cancellation, refunds]. If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, any statutory right to withdraw from a paid purchase will be described in that agreement: [CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL RIGHT — to be completed when paid plans are sold to consumers].

We may change plan limits or features. For changes that reduce what a plan includes, we will give you reasonable notice, and you will keep access to the content you already created (you may need to archive Reels or upgrade to create new ones).

5. Your content

You keep all rights in the content you upload or create in the Service, including Reels, shot notes, images, drawings and audio (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process and display Your Content solely to operate, secure and provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you own it or have all rights, licences and permissions needed to upload and share it (including images, music, likenesses of people, and material belonging to your clients), and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

If you upload content or personal data on behalf of a client, you confirm you are authorized to do so. For personal data in Your Content, you act as controller and we act as your processor; see our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request at support@stilltoreel.com.

6. Music, audio and third-party material

You can add audio to animatics and export it in videos. Music, voice recordings, sound effects, fonts, footage and images are usually protected by copyright or related rights. Upload only material you own or are licensed to use, for the way you use it, including for any platform where you later publish the result.

We do not provide, license or check music or other third-party material, and an animatic that plays well in StillToReel may still be blocked, muted or taken down by the platform where you publish it. You are responsible for any claims, fees or takedowns that result.

7. Sharing and public links

You control who can see your Reels. If you enable a public link, anyone who has the link (and password, if you set one) can view the Reel and, if you allow it, post comments with a name they choose. Do not share links to content you do not want others to see. You are responsible for what you make public and for any comments you allow.

We are not responsible for what people who receive your link do with the content they can see. You can disable a link at any time in the share settings.

8. Copyright and content complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, email support@stilltoreel.com with: your contact details; a description and the link (URL) of the content; why you believe it is infringing or unlawful; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We may remove or disable access to content and notify the user who uploaded it. If you are that user and believe the content was removed by mistake, email support@stilltoreel.com with the link, an explanation of why you are entitled to use the content, and your contact details; we may forward your reply to the complainant and restore the content if the complaint is withdrawn or not substantiated. We may close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to: break the law; infringe or misappropriate anyone’s rights; upload content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, incites violence or hatred, or is defamatory; distribute malware or spam; attempt to access accounts, data or systems without authorization; probe, scrape or overload the Service; circumvent plan limits or security controls; or resell the Service without our written agreement.

10. Third-party services

The Service lets you plan content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. StillToReel is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any of them; their names are trademarks of their owners. You are responsible for following those platforms’ own rules when you publish content.

Sign-in with Google is provided by Google and subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.

11. Early access, availability and your backups

StillToReel is under active development. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn, and some may be labelled as early access or beta. We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we make no uptime commitment unless we agree one in writing. We may perform maintenance.

Keep your own copies of important material (for example by exporting your Reels). The Service is not designed to be the only copy of your work.

12. Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion takes effect after a grace period of 30 days after you confirm it, during which you can contact us to cancel. After deletion, your personal data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and your shared links stop working.

Teams: if you are the only member of a team, the team’s Reels and files are deleted with your account. If a team has other members, [TEAM CONTENT ON OWNER DELETION — e.g. ownership is transferred to another admin, or the content is kept for remaining members]. Export what you need before deleting your account.

We may suspend or close an account, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law. Where possible we will give you a chance to export your content first.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StillToReel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and [LIABILITY CAP AMOUNT].

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law of your country does not allow us to limit. [LAWYER TO REVIEW THIS SECTION FOR THE APPLICABLE JURISDICTIONS.]

15. Indemnity (business users)

If you use the Service for business, you will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and related costs, arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law. This section does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.

16. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you, and without restriction, but we will not publish them in a way that identifies you without your permission.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may give you notices by email or in the Service. The English version of these Terms is authoritative unless the law requires otherwise: [LANGUAGE OF GOVERNING VERSION].

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the Service at least [NOTICE PERIOD, e.g. 30 days] before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you can close your account.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION]. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of [COURT JURISDICTION / CITY], except that mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, and your right to bring a claim in your local courts where the law gives you that right, are not affected.
